- Work with the director to understand their vision for the project and translate that vision into a visual plan. 
- Determine the overall look and feel of the project, including the lighting, camera angles, and composition of each shot. 
- Decide how the camera will move and what angles will best tell the story, often working with camera operators to execute these shots. 
- Lead and manage the camera and lighting teams to ensure that all visual elements are executed effectively.
